My wife Dana starred in this 1998 TV movie playing a woman who ran away from her husband and carrying his baby.
A rather sombre movie, Dana sure made it bearable to watch.
The ending seems to be based on practicalities for Dana’s character rather than any enthusiasm to it.
Also in The Patron Saint of Liars was Clancy Brown.
The curious thing about this casting is that both were working on Superman: The Animated Series (1996-2000) at the same time they were working together on The Patron Saint of Liars.
In the animated Superman series Dana Delany voiced Lois Lane and Brown voiced Lex Luthor.
In The Patron Saint of Liars their characters gets married to each other. Oh dear, Lois Lane being married to Lex Luthor!
Brown had also earlier worked with Dana when she was the lead actor in China Beach and him making a guest stint in the season 3 finale Strange Brew.
